I have a great short hair cut that I've kept for 10 years... I'm fairly petite and I think the haircut suits my personality. I am now wondering if I should grow it out before it's too late and I become one of those boring middle-aged women with short hair (take a look at the US Senate/House). However, I'm really reluctant to take risks with a hairstyle I really like... What should I do?
Should I grow my hair out?
I really think you should grow it out. I have a friend who's over 50 with her NATURAL red hair past the small of her back and it's absolutely breathtaking! It's amazing to see an older, petite lady with such long hair. And it makes her look so much younger, since very few older women wear their hair long. So, go for it! And be proud to be outside the box!

start growing it out, and if you don't like it then cut it again :)
Should I grow my hair out?
i think u should grow it out and keep it for about a month or two to see how u like it. if u don't then cut it but if u do just get a trim every once and a while. u can always go back and cut your hair but it takes a while to grow it out.

I think you should change it up. I am always changing my hair and I love doing it. If you grow it out and don't like it you could always go back to your old cut, I think its when you go shorter its really risky.

You'll never know if you'll look good in longer hair unless you give it a shot!

If you're confident, you'll look great no matter what haircut you choose. I'm sure you're very pretty.

REST EASY, Semi.
A hair cut is only a cosmetic "accessory" that can easily be changed. If you dislike your changing appearance, remember that it will grow out and you can change it indefinitely.
One of my cousins in Europe wore her hair to the length of her waistline all her life until she bore her 2nd son.
15 years later, everyone says that she looks much more attractive with her buck haircut. She says, "Ja! - Hoe tog?!? :-)"
MY SUGGESTION is if you prefer your hair [a certain way] then KEEP IT or SHAVE IT to how YOU like it.

I love long hair, it's so gorgeous. You should try growing it out, if you don't like it then you can always cut it short again. That's the good thing about long hair, if you don't like it you can chop it off.
