Hair help please?

I need some advice about my hair. My hairl is kinky curly thick frizzy and a rats nest. The only way it looks nice and not ratty is if I use a hair stratghtoner and I want to find a way for my hair so it looks decent and I dont have to use a hair straghtoner and also with out geting my hair cut short because my dad will throw a fit b/c he wants me to have long hair and I dont want it cut ether. My hair had always been that way even before I started useing a hair straghtener. I also still brush it and pick it. Ive also tried everything from gel to mose to condioner to serum. Please help I want to wear my hair down without useing the Hair Straghtoner.

This might sound scary but you need to have your hair thinned. Don't worry it will still look thick but it will take out the bulk and the frizziness.

Go to a professional hair salon and get a curling lotion, let it air dry and only finger comb it. The lotion will weight your hair down so that the the curls will be more uniform. Make sure you go to a good salon, it may cost more but it will be worth it. If you go to anyone else you are taking a greater risk.

buy a spampoo and conditonier speaically made 4 it...and products oh and u might want 2 go 2 a slon not 2 get it cut but u no 4 help and advice 4 what 2 do and what 2 use

a paddle brush is a must. flip your hair upside down as you dry it...then brush your ends over and over until it is as smooth as you want it to be all day long. spritz some hairspray and use wax or serum to lay your flyaways down. it sounds simple, but the less product in your hair - the best. Jessica Simpson goes by that rule - she has great hair.

well use moosse but a GOOD BRAND LIKE TRESEMME AND SUM CURL enhancing cream like suave or garnier

try sunsilk shampoo and conditioner.

if you want your hair straighter without a flat iron, use the "straighten up" shampoo, conditioner, and 24/7 creme.

it works really well for frizz and adds shine as well.

Is your hair all one length? If you get layers it will take some of the thickness out and help add demension to your hair. also use a deep conditioner at least once a week. Look for different hair products that are made for kinky curly hair. it took me forever to find some for wavy hair here is what i use it could help:

Aussie Root Clenser + Tip Mender Shampoo and Conditioner

Aussie 3 Minute merical (deep conditioner)

Sunsilk leave in conditioner (its in a pink bottle)

Tresemme Mouse ( not sure if thats how u spell the brand but and curl/wave enhancing mouse should work)

Curl Enhancing Gel (not sure what brand it is but its blue)

you can try de-frizz shampoo from sunsilk. ive never used it before, but i use the volumizing shampoo from sunsilk and it works well. you can also try teh straightening shampoo from sunsilk.
