M hair is changing colour?!?

Until i was about 12 my hair was a brown colour, over the next few years the gradually changed to a lighter blonde... but then as i grew older my "stubble" sideburns and my fringe on my hair has become blonde. I had my hair cut short but only these areas grew back blonde. My eyebrows have now started to turn a ginger colour as have parts of my hair.

My two brothers have ginger hair and both my parents have brown hair (my grandad is the only person in our family i know with ginger hair)

Does anybody know why my hair is doing it and if there is a way to stop it?

You can't stop your hair from changing colors. First, are you in the sun a lot? If so, the sun will naturally lighten your hair.

If not, don't worry. Your hair will do whatever it's going to do. If it really bothers you, then dye it.

Don't freak out about it it happens to alot of people my nephew hair was blonde then brown and now black it has a gene just let it be

When i was a kid my hair was very light brown, by the time i was about 10 it had turned dark brown. These days the grey stuff is coming through. (the gal who cuts it calls it 'ash blonde'- some people will say anything to get a tip).

No, there is no way to stop it unfortuantely, it's your ginger genes coming through, also happens as people get older - I know you are only 17 but my hubby started receding at 17. Just gotta learn to accept it, or colour your hair, kepp your stubble shaved and ask your hair stylist to trim your eyebrows as keeping them neat instead of bushy will make them less noticable.
