Hair being cut really short, possibly dying it? help?

okay so i've always had long straigtish beachy hair (like to my chest) in a honey blond color (ignore my avatar lol)

i want something wild, becuase if i hate it i have two months before school in order to fix it really...

Would it look good on me?

i don't have very sharp features, my face is soft looking (like relaxed), my eyes stand out alot, i have full lips, but i lack cheekbones, i have a bit of acne here and there, but nose is rounder and my face shape is round-oval. my chin can be prominent. i am tall (5'10), but not the leanest. my skin tone is cool.

do you think i should just settle for some sort of bang? if so, give me idears and coloring!

i like to go a bit shorter in the summer. I have pretty much the typical choppy cut with a thick bang, that's long enough to sweep to the side if I want. my avatar is pretty much right on. plus, I can either let it go or style it - just get something choppy and layered and you probably won't regret it.

You could go with dye to a soft light brown color and a short cut would work for you if you got wisps of hair that pulled toward your face kind of like little fingers of hair and gel them so they lay right on your face. It would look very cool.

I cut my hair off....i had hair pass my chest...its now like a longer style of victoria beckham with is a light brown color...I LOVE IT!!!

well.......If you want to change the color dramatically?.....ummm, Anything with red tones softens your complexion, and it's a color most anyone..MOST anyone can wear nicely. And it pops blue and green eye colors, not sure what yours are. But Red aside, there's so many colors out there. You have to figure one thing with hair....You color it, and it isn't Exactly what you wanted, then work with it. And color again, it's hair! Have some fun with it! =) You are thinking of a cut? Something dramatic?.....Well you mentioned slight acne issues, well with your hair being longer, that can actually irritate acne conditions making it worse, try a short fun cut, after all it's summer, and it keeps your face free from the oils in your hair " which everyone has" =) Another thing on a Cut, it too grows out, and unless you shave it off bald, you can always work with it. Find a good stylist in your area, ask your friends,family and even go into a few, watch their work, and make your decision then. omg!! i have the perfect, fun, funky style your looking for! and it would work even better if youre getting your hair cut shorter like you said! just get some layering around your face, some long(barley noticeable) side bangs, and add some flame red tips to your hair and bangs.if you want to b really dramatic you can dye your hair black b4 the tips, but you dont have to. it would look cool with blonde too. theyre not the best, but here are some pics to show what im talking about

i know...its a haircut on a guy...but ive actually done it and i luved it!you also seem to have similar facial features(as far as eyes that really stand out and less noticable cheek bones) so i thought this would work really well for ya. keep in mind you can keep your hair longer and still get the same look if youre not comfortable cutting your hair that short. hope this helped and good luck ^_^

I have hair to my chest as well, and I wanted to do something different - but not wild. I got some bangs - and they look so good. When I was younger (around 16) I cut my long hair off and I regretted it soooo much. I would try the bangs and wait - its easier to cut more off than to grow it back!

Change is always good after same thing for so long. Shorter hair has several advantages, I think you'll love it!

Some webistes offer a how to choose your style kind of thing. Also, go to a local Beauty school. They have tons of books to look through, can make suggestions, and even though it's a student working, their instructor is always right there! My whole family goes ther for everything, weddings, prom, reunions, and when we all donated our hair lengths to Locks of Love. You should do that by the way! It will really make you feel good %26amp; help out someone who needs it.

Try a light brown, that way it's a subtle change, but still different from your hair color now.

I think from the way you have described your features, a shoulder length or just below the ears length would look great on you.

Do you watch Friends, remember the Rachel haircut. It's a style that can be below ears, all the way to shoulders even. I think it would look good with your facial features.
