How can I get my hair to look like Q-Tip?

I'm a guy and I really don't like my hair cut short. But I do have it cut because I don't know what to do with my hair. I don't like just having a regular afro. I can't think of anyone else who has the style of hair I want. I want to get it like Q-Tip's hair. How it was like frizzy or sometimes the little twists in his hair. I would prefer this style in this picture

You are going to have to go to stylist babe. John legend looks like he might have a texturizer. Once you go to a stylist, they can show you how to do the style and you can do it from home until you need a touchup.
