my hair is butt length, blond, and layered. im ready for a change but my boyfriend doesnt want me to cut it. he HATES short hair! i like it on some girls. he broke up with a girl just because she chopped her hair off! does anyone have a suggestion of a new long do?

Well, as a guy, I can sort of understand where he's coming from. I'd be really disappointed if my gf cut her hair short too... Although, breaking up for a haircut is a bit extreme %26amp; shallow. Maybe you can talk to him about trimming it just a little or see what he thinks.

In terms of styles %26amp; haircuts, I highly suggest not cutting it though, (even if your bf didn't care or if you were single). It sounds really attractive %26amp; probably gets a lot of attention. Maybe grow it out to one length, as oppose to layers?

You have to cut your hair. That is majorly long! You can get a nice length of about a little shorter than mid-back length. And if that's too short for your boyfriend he doesn't really like you for you, but for your looks. And if that's the case then maybe you should just ditch him for someone who love you for you and not your hair. Unless you really like him, which it seems like you do. then i guess you could just compromise for him.

Well...honestly he sounds like a complete jerk. You should be able to cut your hair however you want and not worry about if your boyfriend will dump you or not. If you want to cut your hair short do it. I think short hair is really cut, and it doesn't even have be that short. I would cut a little under shoulder length, that's what I have and I love it! You can put your hair up in a million different hair styles or just wear it down without having to worry about it getting caught on anything, or sitting on it in your case.
