I hate to break it to you, but your hairstylist is right. After all that work you got done to your hair, your hair is fried.

If you really don't want to go short, pump your hair full of moisture. Put leave in conditioners in your hair, and try not to wash it everyday.

Unfortunately, you made a biiiig mistake. Doing all of that to your hair in such a short period is like MURDER for your hair. You will have to either cut it, or deal with the disgusting fried hair. You're supposed to wait a month between dyes and perms, otherwise you'll murder your hair - trust me, I've done that before.

Your stylist should be struck off for letting you do this to yourself.

Cut your losses, get a short cute cut and learn!

First of all soft, mushy hair needs PROTEIN! Moisture is for dry brittle hair. So you need a great protein based conditioner. I recommend AVEDA's Damage Remedy Treatment. Second, change hairdressers. They should never let you do that many chemical treatments to your hair. I would flat refuse a client that wanted all that done. Back to conditioners... Proteins strengthen hair, moisturizers soften hair. Both are good, just for different reasons. One more tip, You can use too much protein. If you over strengthen the hair with protein it can become brittle, so once you get back into shape, back off it a little and use it only once a week or so. You can not over use Moisture though, your hair will absorb what it needs and the rest will rinse away!

Um, why would you perm twice in two weeks? Why would you do any of this? I have seen hair fall out from a lot less. I'm surprised it's only now melted. Did you do this yourself? If a hair dresser did this, s/he should at the very least refund your money.

If you hair feels mushy, it's gone. It cannot be reconstructed. The structure has holes, literally. Normally I would recommend some protein and moisture treatments, but I have never encountered a client that did so much to their hair in such a short time. You really have no choice. And if you choose not to cut it, it will just separate like string cheese whenever you comb, brush or shampoo it.

I'm sorry. Just keep in mind: Your hair is keratinized protein. Not steel. It can only handle a few chemical processes before it breaks down.

Cutting your hair short is the easiest and best thing to do, using excessive products to help try regain the strength of your hair could cause more damage, naturally once damaged hair is all cut off it grows back so much healthier and stronger, its a good option
