This goes with my first question I asked about the hair. I colored my hair with a friend instead of going with wat my dad told me i had to do by going to a salon to get it done. And he found out about my hair and now says that when I go to his house this weekend I have to cut my hair like really really short and I dont want that. So im wondering, would a father really make you do that? My dad and me get along pretty good he helps me when I have problems. And I kno im not the best little angle cuz ive done bad stuff but my dad always gets through it with me. My dad is strict though. So I dont kno if he is just gonna try scaring me to teach my a lesson or wat. So help me please. I kno you dont mydad or me but would a father really do that? Also thanks to those people that helped me with my first question about my hair.

You should have listened to your parents in the first place.

Since you didn't, there may be consequences.

I do not think it is fair to make you cut your hair, tell your father that would really really shame you and ask if there is another way you can make up for disrespecting him.

Before you go there this weekend, talk to your mom about being afraid of him enforcing the hair cut.

Maybe she can talk some sense into him.

well im not sure, im 13 so when i had hair up to my butt my mom didnt like it cuz i left hair everywhere when i brushed so she made me go to the salon and get the Bob! it looked horrible but after i out grew it i actually liked short hair, you never know short hair is beautifull, i have it know, i have like the Hilarie burton short hair. Its very pretty and if your father makes you cut your hair just know you might look nice, and if he doesnt make u cut it, than well you fine!

If the amatuer dye job offends him so much he makes you cut it, then at least try and get a professional to do the cutting

Well as a mom, my daughter has had different hair colors, one time she colored it green yuck! I did not like it but I have always said there were worse things she could do. The thing is her boss at the time said change it back to her natural hair color or leave! Well she left. My son colored his hair blond once on a dare (he has black hair) unfortunitly it turned green in some areas so he never did that again. Sometimes as parents we may threaten (I am not sure about your dad) to do something but let it slid anyway your hair will grow out. If he does make you cut it just remember you will become a adult someday and you can color it again if you want to %26amp; he can't do anything about it.

Some fathers would, some would not. Fathers don't have some sort of collective identity that makes them all behave a certain way; they are simply male humans that happen to have gotten a woman pregnant at some point in their lives. Some beat their children, some desert them, and some love them more than life itself. You are probably the only one here that knows your father, so no one else knows better than you what to expect from him.
