My hair recently became naturally wavy over the last couple of years. It's a nice wave, but it's very frizzy. I've tried lots of products but I can't seem to tame it. Any suggestions? I don't want to cut my hair, it's halfway down my back.

get some be curly from aveda...it is awesome, it is a cream, also when you dry your hair use a difuser and try not to mess w/ it you will break down the product and will cause frizz....good luck

Have you tried some of the newer products out which are designed specifically for taming the frizzies of curly hair? Walmart has a huge variety and your hairdresser could have some great suggestions. A good trim is good, but don't give up on your longer hair yet!

One trick is to not brush it when its dry - it separates the waves and goes all poofy. You need to add more moisture to your hair to cut down on the frizziness.

Cutting down on the number of times a week you wash your hair is a good plan - one of the reasons you get oily hair fast is becasue you are stripping out all your natural oil everytime you wash it, and your scalp is trying to replace it all.

Add some honey to your conditioner - its brings moisture into oyour hair.

Try using coconut or jojoba oil, just a little bit goes a long way - rub a little onto your palms and smooth it through your hair.
