I don't know but I think that they need to get over it cus it will just grow back! I cheered when I got my hair cut cus it was down to my thighs! So probably cus they are babies!

personally..when i had my hair cut short for the first time i hated it..but i was used to having long hair..it just totally changes the way you look..and you feel insecure about changing totally...and when a girl feels insecure about the way she looks...it can be emotional..its sad but true...and i kno im like that..so thats why =D
