I had hair down to my waist. I heard my cousin contracted cancer and she was only 10 at the time. I didn't think twice about cutting off 13 inches and giving it to Locks of Love. So, if you do cut it and you have enough to donate then I say go for it, because hair grows back and you'll make some little boy or girl very happy.
