Short as in cut right below where your ear ends, long hair is to much work

it really depends on the cut and if you're picky or not.

for me, it's super easy because i have it about 2 inches/3 inches long in the back, and then my bangs go down to about my mouth. so i just spike/mess up the back and straighten the bangs, and i'm done in like 10 minutes tops.

if all you're going to do is straighten it or something along those lines, it's going to be super easy. just know that with ear-length hair, there's not much else you can do with it besides short pigtails or something. if you go a little longer or shorter you could do tons of stuff.

let me tell you from experience, NO.

it's very, very hard to style. and if you're like me, curly hair is hard enough to deal with as it is. if you're going to cut your hair, try shoulder length or down to your collabone, it's a good balance!

i've been on both sides of the tracks : I've had hair down to my butt and hair down to my chin.

long hair is easier in my opinion.

because with short hair: if your having a bad hairday you can't do much of anything with it. if you take showers at night, then sleep, and wakeup your hair is seriously STUCK in that ugly messy blob on your head. its no use brushing it out whereas with long hair just brush it out or put it up.

sure your shampoo time is less but its harder to manage on a daily basis.

You look like you have very straight hair, so it might be easy for you.

I, however, have wavy hair, and my short hair is a total pain in the ***. I have to flat iron it every single day, otherwise it will look like crap.

Styling it might be a problem if you don't already style you hair because there are a lot of short styles that look dumb unless their pretty much styled perfectly.

For me it is very easy to style. My hair is super curly I had it down to the middle of my back and it was super hard to take care of so when I cut it right bellow my ears, all I have to do is brush threw it quickly and put a little moose, curl enhancer or some thing like that. =)

Short hair is Very easy to manage....wash, put a couple drops of gel or other product in, and go. Only thing that does suck is you HAVE to do something with it everyday (although it only takes you 5 minutes), and if you have something big or formal to go to, you can't rreally get fancy with it.
