I wouldn't go jetblack, and I wouldn't cut it too short. Your skintone is kinda warm (it's a lot rosier than the girl next to you), so jetblack might be a bit harsh for your tones, but not harsh enough to make an interesting contrast. If you want to go black, make sure it has some brown highlights to it, rather than blue ones.

Also, the wispy strands on the side of your face frame your face nicely. Keep those, brushed forwards, and just faux hawk the front.
