Lesbian short hair?

as you may have guessed, i am a lesbian. i have pretty long hair that i hate messing with. its usually up in a messy bun or ponytail. i'd like to cut it short, but i'm not sure what would look good. anyone have any suggestions? i have wavy light brown hair. i'd like it to still look semi-feminine. thanks for the input

i had the same issue. my long hair was always in the way cuz i didnt know what to do with it, it was always just up in a ponytail. so i decided to cut it short. if you go medium short it will only bother you more cuz you cant put it up. but there are alot of short hairstyles that still look fem. for example.... wynona rider, halle barry and jenna elfman.

i cut my hair short 4 years ago and never went back to long hair.

just remember, dont be scared. its just hair and if you dont like it.... it will grow back

talk to a hairdresser...you need to find something that will flatter your features, and the shape of your face....short layers?

I don't you think you should cut it, but that's just because I like long hair on girls.

It's kind of hypocritical because my hair is fairly short.

It's easier to put it back than if it were short. Short hair is harder to deal with, in my opinion. There are no ways to put it back.

Unless you're talking about really short...Then I guess you wouldn't have to put it back.

you will definitly miss it at first, after having it long it becomes like a security blanket, so i say try to keep it on the medium side at first, than gradually go into the short.a look that almost everyone looks good with is the just above the shoulder length layerd cut. cute and easy to manage. than if you want to keep going, do it a little bit at a time... than again you can always just go for it, it is just hair after all... it will grow back. DO IT UP!!
