I think it should be ok, as long as you dont have a really short pixie [ei. Halley Berry], other than that, it's ok. They just need a few inches of hair.

As long as the person doing your hair can braid yours. I just recently had weave sewn in. It wasn't for me, but I wish you the best of luck. Also, make sure the person has sewn in weave before. DON'T let him/her experiment in your hair. Hope you like it!

as long as your hair is long enough to braid, you can get a sewn in weave. i do think you have to be aware of the length so it will not weight down and pull or damage your real hair. good luck.
