I had a haircut yesterday and the hairdresser cut my hair pretty short. I usually prefer it a bit longer but I've been getting lots of compliments from other people with this new cut.

I like the short, spikey look cause it's usually what my hair does naturally without too much fuss. Going shorter can give you a visual lift and let others concentrate on your features rather than any sort of 'hair sculpture' you may have concocted with longer locks. (I have a friend who spends more time constructing his nest on a daily basis than your local flock of bluejays.) It can also make you look younger and more rested. Plus, with a shorter cut, you can enjoy experimenting with different styles as it grows out. It's a lot easier to get your 'Clark Kent' on during the workday and your party on when the night owl in you starts calling!

i prefer either extememly short hair or 3-4" hair on guys... but it all depends on your face shape

It depends...some guys look better with shorter hair, but I think the longer messier look is really sexy!
