...Why are there so many girls on this site that are anti-short-hair??? I happen to have an adorable pixie cut and it looks awesome on me! I get so many compliments every day. When my hair was long I looked like everyone else.
The key to having short hair is having the right face. If you've got very feminine and pretty features there's a good chance you'll look better with short hair than with long. I like long hair--it's very pretty, don't get me wrong. Some girls need it. Some girls don't. If you've got the face and the confidence to pull off short hair--go for it!

I dig short hair, its a sign of being comfortable in your own shoes- meaning your mind, body and soul, Missy. Guys hate it because they feel inferior being with a bombshell that can actually thinks, looks better than them and uses less conditioner!

I recently cut my own hair short and I did it because I think that if a girl is truthfully beautiful, then they should be able to be comfortable with short hair and pull it off. I believe long hair tends to weigh some girls down, and that short hair is a sign of strength in girls. Report It

To everyone that thinks short hair is "just for boys"...? I keep my hair short when I can. It's easier to maintain and you use less shampoo and conditioner. Also, I look better in short hair than long hair. I can't be with a man who's hair is longer then mine! The key is to not have it cut too short where you might be mistaken as a man.

To everyone that thinks short hair is "just for boys"...? I chopped all of my hair of about two years ago, and it keeps getting shorter, well in the back. I love keeping the front down to my jawline and the back boy-short. This way my long neck looks longer and prettier. ^.^
And I can go punk if I want to or office-chic, or even sporty and I don't have my old scruffy ponytail to deal with.
My boyfriend loves it too, I can't smack him with a braid or ponytail anymore. and he can really run his hands through my hair without them getting stuck in a tangle or something. Because that just ruins the mood

When you are comfortable, you will be more confident and therefore more attractive. If you are more comfortable with short, then go for it!!! You are the one who has to look in the mirror, after all.
